I've never been interested in simply documenting a destination. I'd rather photograph what it feels like to be there. I'm always looking for the moments that reveal the character of a place through the people, light, and everyday experiences that make it memorable. My favorite images usually aren't the ones I planned to photograph. They're the ones I stumbled into after taking one more walk, one more turn, or staying out a little longer than I meant to.
